About me
I’m Cody Small, a creative director and designer with more than 20 years of experience. I’ve always been driven to create things, but I’ve learned that meaningful work takes more than design alone. It means recognizing the problem beneath the brief, seeing what something could become, making difficult decisions, and bringing the right people together to make it real.
For 16 years, I’ve led Caava Design’s creative work across strategy, identity, packaging and digital. Through it all, I’ve remained a hands-on creator, not just someone directing the work.
